Summer novelties in the BLACK THAI restaurant
Seasonal products, including exotic ones, are the main focus of the new summer menu of the BlackThai restaurant. Each dish has its own zest — that unique note, for which many people adore pan-Asian cuisine, which, among other things, is suitable for vegans. For example, new salads and snacks: buckwheat noodles with sprouts and green peas (420 rubles) or watermelon with tofu, lychee and lime (540 rubles) — a real explosion of taste and freshness.
Combinations of vegetables, fruits and seafood are also ideal. Scallop with mango, avocado and cucumber water (920 rubles) and octopus with lettuce leaves, broken spinach and asparagus (1750 rubles) are the clearest evidence.
Instead of the stereotypical okroshka and beetroot, Black Thai offers a unique selection of cold soups — with a pleasant sharpness and spicy notes. This is yellow gazpacho with physalis and mango (680 rubles) — the second one is definitely not to be found in the capital; and cold tom yam with fried shrimp and yellow tomatoes (650 rubles).
Perhaps only in Black Thai you can try baramundi — white sea bass with carrots and rice porridge tom yam (1260 rubles). White cod is served with black beans and asparagus salad (850 rubles), and ribai — with chard, black garlic and shiitake 1780 rubles).
